Community Care

We all have a responsibility for the welfare our community.  Pressure-Kleen cares about the people in our communities by sponsoring various agencies and organizations.  This week we highlight the work of one such agency that we have had the pleasure of supporting.

Women’s Habitat, a safe haven for battered women and their children, is a local organization doing great things to encourage their clients to start a new life free of abuse.  Their caring staff offer many services aside from a safe place to live.

The transition is very stressful for the family.  Many times the children must start new schools and make new friends.  The shelter’s Family and Child Advocate helps the children through the tough transition with group activities and counselling.

Pressure-Kleen organizes fund raising activities to collect donations for the home.  Last year, our office staff held a bake sale, a charity lunch and a tax clinic.  We were happy to present them with a big cheque as a token of our appreciation for what they do in our community.
